¿Quiénes son los verdaderos siervos de Dios en nuestros días?
JEHOVÁ DIOS nos tiene mucho cariño. Por eso, pensando en nuestro bien, se ofrece a guiarnos. Si lo adoramos como él quiere, seremos felices y nos libraremos de muchos problemas en la vida. Además, tendremos su bendición y su ayuda (Isaías 48:17). Sin embargo, hay centenares de religiones. Aunque todas dicen que enseñan la verdad acerca de Dios, no están de acuerdo sobre quién es él ni sobre qué espera de nosotros.
2 ¿Cómo puede usted saber de qué manera se debe adorar a Jehová? No hace falta que estudie y compare las creencias de todas las religiones. Solo tiene que aprender lo que realmente enseña la Biblia sobre la adoración verdadera. Pongamos una comparación. Como usted sabe, el dinero falso es un grave problema en muchos países. Pues bien, imagínese que recibe el encargo de separar los billetes falsos de los auténticos. ¿Cómo distinguirá unos de otros? ¿Aprendiéndose de memoria cada falsificación? En realidad, ¿no sería mucho más práctico estudiar cómo son los billetes auténticos? Cuando los conozca bien, podrá distinguir los falsos. Del mismo modo, es fácil reconocer las religiones falsas cuando aprendemos cómo debe ser la verdadera.
3 Es importante que adoremos a Jehová como él quiere. Muchas personas creen que todas las religiones complacen a Dios, pero eso no es lo que enseña la Biblia. Tampoco basta con afirmar que uno es cristiano, pues Jesús dijo: “No todo el que me dice: ‘Señor, Señor’, entrará en el reino de los cielos, sino el que hace la voluntad de mi Padre que está en los cielos”. Por lo tanto, Dios únicamente nos aprobará si aprendemos lo que él nos pide y lo ponemos por obra. A los que no hacen la voluntad de Dios, Jesús los llamó “obradores del desafuero”, es decir, practicantes de la maldad (Mateo 7:21-23). La religión falsa es como el dinero falso: no tiene ningún valor. Y, lo que es peor, causa mucho daño.
4 Jehová ofrece a todas las personas la oportunidad de tener vida eterna. Sin embargo, para que podamos vivir para siempre en el Paraíso, tenemos que adorarlo y comportarnos como él quiere. Por desgracia, muchos se niegan a hacerlo, y por eso Jesús dijo: “Entren por la puerta angosta; porque ancho y espacioso es el camino que conduce a la destrucción, y muchos son los que entran por él; mientras que angosta es la puerta y estrecho el camino que conduce a la vida, y pocos son los que la hallan” (Mateo 7:13, 14). Como vemos, la religión verdadera conduce a la vida, y la falsa a la destrucción. Ahora bien, Jehová no desea que ningún ser humano sea destruido, y por eso da a gente de todo el mundo la oportunidad de conocerlo (2 Pedro 3:9). En realidad, nuestra forma de adorar a Dios puede llevarnos a la vida o llevarnos a la muerte.
